Why did you choose Wolfe Design Build to do your project?
Our old kitchen needed to be tore out completely, including a few walls that separated a butler’s pantry from the main kitchen. We knew we needed to work with someone who could "see through the walls" and design a new space while also considering the structural implications and the age of our 100-year-old home. Matt used a software program to walk us through the proposed space and helped us with the vision. We met a few times to go over specifics and make adjustments to the project and finishes. We were confident Matt had the expertise and experience to successfully complete the project.
How was the craftsmanship and attention to detail?
The best word to describe the craftsmanship and attention to detail: excellent. To see the design come to life followed by the detailed finished work (moldings, trim, tile, custom radiator covers, paint, matched hardwood flooring) was impressive. Matt and the Wolfe Design Build team are truly talented.
Describe the communication between you and Matt.
Matt is very professional and provided frequent updates on timelines. He would set expectations on the duration of each step so we knew what to expect. Matt was extremely responsive to texts and emails which was very helpful and appreciated.
Overall, how was the process?
Working with Matt made the process very easy. He guided us through each step and made recommendations based on his experience. Once we agreed to the project terms, Matt put us on the schedule, started on the date proposed and finished the project within the projected timeframe. We were impressed by how well the entire project was completed."
