Why did you hire Matt and Wolfe Design Build?

“In truth, we knew Matt before the project. But we know other contractors as well. We just had a very natural chemistry from the start. He was a good listener and has a great eye for design, so we just hit it off. His work on other people's homes was spectacular and reinforced our decision.”

How was the experience from beginning to end? From the quote, to schedule, through the construction, punch list items, to project completion.

“We had a 3 month project, so there was a lot of work. But Matt was extremely communicative, always available, and I felt like he was on top of things from the get-go. We collaborated well together and he really understood our style and décor immediately. We spent many evenings deciding the shape and cabinetry of our island in the kitchen and it turned out to be one of my favorite elements!”

How was the craftsmanship and attention to detail?

“The craftsmanship and attention to deal were amazing. It got to the point where we were so impressed that when decisions came up, we just usually deferred to what Matt had in mind. We told him we wanted a mudroom build-in and within minutes he had the exact design drawn on a piece of paper. His imagination and execution are second to none.”

How was the communication between you and Matt? What worked best for you and what did you find most helpful?

“The communication was fantastic. We met most mornings to see what was going on that day, but Matt was also extremely available through text. That made things so much easier and faster. He would not only offer his expertise, but he was also open to meeting us at stores to guide us through the details.”
