Why did you hire Matt and Wolfe Design Build?

“We became aware of Matt and Wolfe Design Build through social media. It was obvious from photographs of Matt’s past projects that both the quality of his work and his attention to detail were top notch. We also gathered a sense from his excellent reputation among his clients that his working style would be a good fit for our family and our project. How was the experience from beginning to end? From the quote, to schedule, through the construction, punch list items, to project completion.

“After our initial meeting, Matt quickly provided us with a very thorough quote that illustrated his attention to detail and his firm grasp of the extensive scope of our first-floor renovation. He remained cognizant of our budget and schedule throughout the project.

Our experience working with Wolfe Design Build was truly a pleasure. From the beginning, Matt provided us with a very detailed timeline for the project. Matt and his team remained right on target throughout the project. Matt was clear with us about our own decision-making deadlines and he checked in with us regularly to remind and update us. This was our first major home renovation, and we never felt like we were on our own when it came to making decisions - big or small. Matt has a great eye and we knew we could trust him to help us make the best choices for us. We also knew we could depend upon his expertise to help guide us to wise decisions when some not-so-fun "old-house surprises" arose.

We lived in our home throughout the renovation. Matt and his team were extremely respectful and considerate of our space and time. The entire team worked diligently to minimize our discomfort and the impact the project (and the dust) had on our daily life. Once the project was completed, we genuinely missed having Matt and his team in our home.”

How was the craftsmanship and attention to detail? 

“We love everything about our new space! We cannot believe we get to live in such a beautiful, luxurious space. Every detail was flawlessly executed. How was the communication between you and Matt? What worked best for you and what did you find most helpful? 

“Throughout our project Matt was in constant communication with us. He provided us with regular updates and was also always available to us when we had occasional questions or concerns for him. He was the perfect blend of proactive, helpful, responsive, and always available.”

Are you pleased with the results? How are you enjoying your new living space?  

“We are beyond thrilled with the finished product. We love everything about our brand new kitchen, mudroom, powder room, and deck, all of which feel unique to us. The cherry on top is the realization of our long held wish of having more functional, physical and visual, access to our backyard and outdoor space. Matt and his team made our dream of being able to look out at our beautiful backyard while spending time in our kitchen a reality!”
