Wolfe Design Build Employee Profile: Cory

Next up in our team spotlight is Cory.

Cory has been with Wolfe Design Build since we started in 2018. He’s been a carpenter for 25 years and has experience in all aspects of building – roofing, framing, windows, whole houses – you name it, he’s done it. His dad is a carpenter and he learned the most from him when they lived on Martha’s Vineyard.

His favorite thing to do is the finish work, things like the crown molding and finish base. He said, “it’s the most rewarding of all. It looks like furniture.” But he said it’s not the most important part of what he does. He said, “all the prep work to get to that point, to make it easy and to make it right, that’s what’s important. I’ve mastered how to do all the fancy stuff, but you have to master how to get to that point – to where everything lines up right. We’ve got a good handle on it here. We are leveling ceilings, leveling floors, and all the blocking we do. It’s all the prep work that matters.”

Cory is meticulous and a master of what he does every day on the job site. His years of experience and ability to execute all the carpentry projects we need done make him a key member of our team. You’re the best, Cory, and we know our clients would agree!
