Matt Wolfe
Founder & Lead Designer
Matt established Wolfe Design Build LLC after 15+ years of experience in design, space planning, construction systems, project management, and cost estimating.
Matt's love for craftsmanship and building began at an early age when he apprenticed as a carpenter and built custom wooden sheds. Since that time, Matt has developed his skills as a craftsman and designer. He earned his Master of Architecture from Syracuse University where he learned innovative practices and gained a deep understanding of architectural design and space planning.
Matt has worked as a site engineer for a commercial construction company and in real estate development. Prior to founding Wolfe Design Build, Matt was a project manager at an award-winning design/build firm on the North Shore.
Matt lives in Swampscott, Mass., with his wife and two daughters, and a golden retriever named Frankie.
Matt’s favorite saying is, “We want you to feel like you’ve bought a new home.”
Laura Moretti
Interior Designer & Project Manager
Laura spent most of her career working in fashion for Eileen Fisher. She switched careers a few years ago and started working for a local interior designer. She developed a love for design and for helping clients turn their houses into beautiful homes.
She brings a wealth of design skills and project management experience to Wolfe Design Build. She lives in Swampscott with her twin children, Cam and Izzy, and her rescue dog, Maggie.
Jessica Bessette, AIA, LEED Accredited professional BD+C
Architect and designer
Jessica is a registered architect and brings 18 years of experience in planning and design. She previously worked at Arrowstreet in Boston and owned her own architecture firm. She has a degree in architecture from Penn State University.
Jessica enjoys working on projects ranging from new construction to renovations. She aims to tailor each design to meet a client’s vision for beauty, functionality, comfort, and durability.
Outside of work, Jessica is at countless sports and activities with her 3 kids, hiking with her rescue dog, reading, cooking, or planning her next family adventure.
